William Smith
Puppet Arts
William Smith is a third year MFA candidate in Puppet Arts. He also received his BFA in Puppetry from West Virginia University, making him the only person ever to attend the country's last two Puppetry programs. He is currently a maker fellow at the University of Connecticut's Learning Community Innovation Zone, where he helps students design and build projects. Here he also helps students engage in creative thinking and the entrepreneur mindset. William is also a decorated veteran, serving in Afghanistan. He is very excited for this next step in his life and is eager to see where it takes him next.
