Nafe Katter Theatre

The Nafe Katter Theatre opened in the Fall of 2004. This innovative facility has 235 seats and it is named after its main benefactor, Emeritus Professor Nafe Katter. The theatre was designed collaboratively by a group of drama faculty members and university architects led by Distinguished Professor of Theatre Gary English. The stage is a thrust with a modified fly-house that allows scenery and lighting to be flown. It is our most up-to-date facility.

Studio Theatre

The Studio Theatre, a 100 seat proscenium theatre, is located in the Drama/Music building and shares its support facilities with the Mobius Theatre, an environmental black box space. The Studio/Mobius complex annually houses our Studio Works Series and several student-directed dramatic, musical, and Puppet Arts events.

Harriet S. Jorgensen Theatre

Our principal stage, the Harriet S. Jorgensen Theatre, is a 500 seat proscenium stage with extensive modern lighting and sound systems and a counterweight fly system. Automation and motorized rigging is a common staple of CRT’s productions utilizing some of the most up-to-date technology available in the entertainment industry. The Scene Shop, Paint Shop, and the Costume Shop currently reside in this historic building constructed in the 1950’s.
