Student Financial Aid

Undergraduate Financial Aid

Two forms of financial aid may be available to students applying to the University of Connecticut.

Aid based on the financial status of an applicant’s family is available from the University Office of Student Financial Aid, according to guidelines established by the Federal Government. Please complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) between October 1 and UConn’s priority filing deadline of February 15 for maximum aid consideration. Financial aid packages are awarded based on eligibility and typically include a combination of funds from several programs and sources. For details, visit the Office of Student Financial Aid Services.

Aid based on talent and ability is available from the Department of Dramatic Arts. For information, consult a faculty member for your major or email the Drama Office at dramaoffice@uconn.edu by January 30th.

UConn also offers a series of renewable merit scholarships for high school seniors with a record of high academic achievement and leadership. For more information regarding UConn Scholarships, please visit the UConn Undergraduate Admissions Merit Scholarship.
