Dramatic Arts Room Reservations

Room Reservation Policy

 

The following perimeters have been created for room reservations:

  • Rooms are available for Dramatic Arts faculty and staff on a first come, first serve basis
  • All spaces listed are available to be reserved on Microsoft Bookings. All Dramatic Arts Majors, Faculty & Staff have the ability to view the room calendars and to book spaces through Bookings.
  • PLEASE ONLY RESERVE SPACES FOR 2 HOURS MAXIMUM
    • If a space is needed for longer than 2 hours, please contact dramaoffice@uconn.edu.
    • Please allow for up to 3 days response time
  • Students can only schedule spaces for up to 2 weeks in advance. If this request is part of a large project and guaranteed space is needed, please contact dramaoffice@uconn.edu.
  • Classes are our top priority for scheduling. If a course needs to change a room for a day, please cancel your original room appointment so others know that space is now available.
  • We may need to cancel your reservation with little notice.
  • No food or beverages are permitted in any of the rehearsal studio spaces.
  • Please be courteous of the next user by disposing of all garbage, cleaning tables, and cleaning whiteboards before leaving a space
  • Non Majors in Dramatic Arts Classes can ask their Professors to reserve a room for them or contact dramaoffice@uconn.edu.

For Non-majors, Guests, Student Organizations, and other UConn community members: You have the ability to view schedules only. If interested in one of our spaces, please email dramaoffice@uconn.edu.

Drama Music (DRMU) 109:

Classroom with folding tables, 25 seats, 86″ flat screen TV, a wall of whiteboards, a wall of pin boards, a sink, and plenty of space! Room can be broken down quickly of furniture to accommodate minor movement and large groups.

Drama Music 219 A & B

Drama Music (DRMU) 219 A & B can only be scheduled by the Registrars Office. Please email registrarscheduling@uconn.edu to submit a form to the registrar to reserve a space.

 

Please note:

  • The Technology in these rooms are not supported by SFA IT Director Rick O’Toole. Please contact UConn ITS to report a problem
  • The Registrar’s Office needs at least 48 hours notice to schedule these spaces.
  • If a room is locked, please contact dramaoffice@uconn.edu and sfaoffice@uconn.edu.
